singapore beat palestine today because the palestine team didn’t appear. as such, we are through to the next round. i personally think its freaking hilarious. in bowls we call this a, walkover? do you think they have to pay $20 and be recorded as ill-discipline?

i was at a wedding dinner this evening at the four seasons singapore. with food from the award winning jiang nan chun, and the luxe atmosphere surrounding us, all of us embarked on a culinary expedition like no other. in the normal 4 star hotels, they will portion out each dish for the VIP tables, but they did this for every table. instead of coming around with jugs to fill your drinks, they are attentive enough to know when you are about to finish your drink and to bring you a new one, even if yours has a quarter left.
plates were changed after every of course and they had a personal waitress to every table. the food itself was good, consisting of 9 courses. it was delicately prepared, with each dish arriving at good time from the one before. the initial cold plate was tantalising, with the usual jellyfish and salad prawns, just that these prawns were whole and not doused in mayonnaise. the pipa duck was also surprisingly good. the only complain i had was for the small white vegetable that was braised with crab roe and dried bamboo shoots. the vegetables were a little bitter and the crab roe was a lil foul. however the yam paste more than made up for it towards the end. it was neither filled with too much coconut milk or lard. all in all, dinner was good but not fantastic, though i cannot complain about the service. and the damage, SGD1300++ a table.
haha sounds like some review huh. anyway i have another wedding dinner to attend in 2 weeks at the regent, also a four seasons hotel. the people that served us right from the bellboy who opened the cab door to the greetings and all the way till he closed the doors of our taxi were fantastic. one point to note, apart from a few restaurant crew, the rest were not singaporeans. oh i dun mind staying at the four seasons hotel new york, the price a night? an ironic SGD1300 a night (:
my mum came into my room at 9.15 am howling at me, tugging my blanket waking me up. apparently my cousin is getting married today and no one is there to open the freaking door for the bridal car. apparently my younger cousin who was supposed to do it had gone missing. i slept at 4.45 this morning, and at that initial point, i had thought it was friday and and i actually told her im not free cause i have lecture. oh well, mums.
anyway Spanish has ended. i thought it was 10 smashing lessons, and money well spent. Sandra was great, the people were great, and all the more makes it more funny. This is apart from those 2 sitting in front of me and the Mon and newfound bf, who enjoys old chang kee fishball on sticks. he was so sad yesterday that she wasn’t here and refused to practice with anyone. oh and they give really nice certs. i am proud of my dear friend who did not miss a single lesson? compare this with the modules she is taking in school and you will be like…
ha lately i have been harping on certain issues. damn mid-terms could have been better, im only banking on my PS essay and GE project now, plus the upcoming HY test and Genes essay. we will see. i have been on this song lately, i think its nice.
i got to say whats on my mind, something about us, doesn’t seem right these days, life keeps getting in the way, whenever we tried, somehow the plan, is always re-arranged, its so hard to say but i gotta do whats best for me, you’ll be okay… i’ve got to move on and be who im, i just don’t belong here, hope you understand, we might find a place in this world someday, but at least for now, i gotta go my own way.
anyway i found out something last night which made me quite ruffled, mabbe that explains why i was sleeping at 4.45am. hmm lets see how this week unfolds itself. ha jieqi thinks i have mucho mucho amigos, cos everyone i comment on is a friend of mine, even liu guoyi. but i choose to believe liu guoyi is a bigger friend and fan of hers (he betta not be googling his own name). i shall end with this picture. i do hate crocs but i actually think its nice considering the color of my bowls. ooh, and its mickey mouse.

i think mikhail gorbachev’s ad for LV is so damn cool. The picture itself says a lot.
and the new first class suites is incredible. The last I searched yesterday night, it costs $6000 one way to fly from Singapore to Sydney, which ain’t too bad. The new economy class is actually quite nice, with 10.6 inch PTVs, and givenchy fleece blankets. I had the opportunity to fly it in August on board their new 777-300ERs. They are fitted on them as well. Hopefully Singapore-Seoul-San Francisco will open up on 9th December again, then this time I can steal the blankets. Dammit, its givenchy!
i thought the spread at SCC hoy see mucho bueno, mucho excepcional. i ate a bit too much, but anyway, the weather this 2 weeks has been unbelievably hot and humid that its disgusting. its been hitting 34 and 35 deg and its so bad that even my aircon is unhappy and refusing to work.
i think MCQ sucks! man, it has got to be the worst part of any exam, i rather essay or short answer questions. I went into the hall ytd without bringing a pencil can you believe it. I had to be nice and explain to the girl sitting beside me who was clad in white from feet up. she must be thinking that this guy is crazy.
some people might argue that i AM crazy but tu eres loco tambien.
